Turning disruption, newness, and loss into a budding business during a pandemic provided the impetus for The Event Collective.
Ashley began her career in the events industry while pursuing a broadcast journalism degree in Boston. Her outgoing personality and keen eye for creating something amazing was forged during her college days when friends had her planning their events.
Early event planning began by booking, organizing, and marketing large concerts and events for spaces that held (and often exceeded) 2,000 guests. Drawn by the excitement and warmth of South Florida, Ashley moved to Boca Raton in 2011 where her first position literally brought her straight to the beach as the Director of Marketing and Special Events for a high-volume oceanfront restaurant.
Ashley’s entrepreneurial spirit emerged while witnessing her parents’ work in the hospitality industry as restaurateurs. The desire to pursue this career was further solidified while planning her own wedding. In addition to creating amazing events over her 20-year career, she earned her certifications in Meeting & Event Manager, Wedding Planning, Wedding Venue Management, and Hospitality & Tourism management.
Ashley, along with her husband Matt, her daughter Blakely, and fun-loving golden retriever Charlie Brown, live, work and play in Palm Beach County.
